Cub Scout Day Camp 2012 at Camp Josepho

When: Three Sessions

Week 1: June 25-29
Week 2: July 2-6
Week 3: July 9-13

Where: Camp Josepho, 3000 Rustic Canyon Rd., Pacific Palisades, CA 90272

Cub Day camp is an excellent way for your cubs to enjoy the company of cubs around your district while having fun, advancing on their Cub Scout trail, and learning and experiencing new things!

Fun and adventure with a purpose

For Webelos, Cubs, and Tigers. These programs include games, crafts, sports, education and advancement, and provide a memorable outdoor summer experience.

Annual Memorial Day Flag Placement May 26, 2012

A Cub Scout honoring U.S. service men and women at the Los Angeles National Cemetary 2011 flag placement

The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts from the Southern California area will be continuing the annual Memorial Holiday honor of placing flags on the grave sites of the Los Angeles National Cemetery in West Los Angeles 950 South Sepulveda Blvd. (Wilshire and the 405).

Parking will be in the Veterans Administration Facilities through the tunnel on Constitution Avenue, as it has been for the prior years. We will start at 8:00AM, you MUST be there by 7:30AM in order to get signed in and receive your location map. Sign in starts at 7:00AM. You may pre-register
your unit’s participation at the WLACC Website: www.bsa-la.org.

All Scouts and Adults must be in full Class A uniform including hats. Leaders are expected to explain to their Scouts the reason for the Memorial Day Ceremony.

Each Pack, Troop, Crew, and Units should bring their unit flags with them, as they will be displayed in front of the assembly facing the stage during the presentations.
