Pack Sports Day

Come learn unique ways to expose boys to various sports while enhancing

Bicycle Safety and Bicycle Rodeo

Cycling is an activity included in all ranks of Cub Scouts. In this meeting we
will demonstrate how to teach boys to maintain and fix their bicycles and
how to operate a bicycle safely. As always, we will give ideas about how to
teach these skills in fun and energetic pack and den activities; such as bike
hikes and bicycle rodeos.

Summertime Pack Planning

A strong summertime program is a key to effective pack retention, pack
organization, and leader enthusiasm. This month’s roundtable will provide
you with ideas for possible activities, planning tips, and tips on raising
attendance and participation levels.

Working with Pack Leadership

Adult leaders, often parents, are the key to healthy packs. This month we will
provide tips and tricks to help packs organize and motivate adults to give their time to their sons’ scouting experience; including how to effectively organize a committee and ideas for recognizing adult leaders.

Cub Scouts need to know and understand the outdoor ethics of the BSA Leave
no Trace program. Come and learn creative ways to promote and enforce
these guidelines without stifling the fun of a Cub Scout activity.

Budgeting and Financing Pack Operations

Money and financial matters and make or break a pack. This critical
roundtable activity will provide a workshop to help leaders address
budgeting issues and find effective ways to finance the needs of the pack.
Come and learn all of these tips in time to take them back to your pack before
planning season begins.

Water Sports with Cubs

Learn about ideas for activities that get Cubs to the water. From beach

Fire Prevention and Emergency Preparedness Activities

Learn great ideas for activities that teach boys safe handling of fire, as well as
how boys can handle emergency situations and work with local authorities.

Age-Appropriateness in Cub Scouting

Cub Scout activities are meant to be age-appropriate. This is to ensure
excitement and safety for boys of all ages while keeping boys interested
throughout their cub scouting careers. Come and learn how to ensure age-
appropriate activities for your cubs in order to keep them safe and maintain
membership and enthusiasm in your pack.

Webelos to Scout Transition – Working with the Boy Scouts

Often the greatest resource for a pack is its local boys scout troop. This
seminar will give leaders strategies for working with these troops, for
managing Den Chiefs, and for effectively coordinating with the troops to
ensure a smooth transition for 5th graders in March.

roundtable will provide information on programs and community resources

integrate these special days into our Cub program. Activities include parades,
special Cub Scout cooking opportunities, games, and crafts.

Internet Advancement and Rechartering

membership chairs for instruction on how to manage our internet-based
advancement and registration systems to ensure your pack is registered on
